Echofon Lite for Twitter App Reviews

I was really satisfied with this application but since the last update, a nasty bug appeared in direct messages. Clicking the tab shows a gray screen instead of messages. Resizing the window show messages, then gray again ..

Positive Points: - Bit.ly integration Negative Points - Don’t show break lines in Tweets that have break lines; - Don’t show embeded tweets

I was pleasantly surprised to see that this version of Echofon Lite has some VoiceOver support already. When interacting with the scroll area that contains the tweets, the tweets themselves can be read. The name information, however, is missing. So, a VoiceOver user doesnt know who the tweet is from. Throughout the UI, there are several unlabelled buttons. And when leaving and re-entering the scroll area, keyboard focus is not returned to the tweet one was reading last. A keyboard shortcut to go to that last read tweet would be cool, or turn the display into a real table and make it navigable by the standard arrow keys. Im giving this three stars for the VO support that is in there already. Not ready for productive use by blind people yet, but close! Keep it up, guys! And I might even purchase the full version.

Unfortunately I cannot use this app anymore. Ive been a fan of Echofon for a while now. Im using OSX 10.6 (Snow Leopard), and now that Twitter has changed their API, the old Echofon does not work. The new version of Echofon will only install on 10.7 or newer. Guess Im out of luck and need to find a new twitter client.

I love this app, I use it on my iPhone as well for its between device syncing. I do however, wish the "black theme" was available on both the iPhone and Mac version. OSX Yosemite now has a dark theme, so it would work perfectly.

This used to be my favourite Twitter client for OSX, but it really needs an update. It hasn’t been updated since the summer of 2015 and is missing a lot of features now. Pros: Simple, quick, and easy to use. Supports a broad range of inline image previews. Good list support You can mute users, hashtags or clients Cons: Hasn’t been updated in a long time Doesnt support muting of general keywords In this latest version everytime you click on a tweet the drawer opens.. REALLY annoying (cant turn it off)

iPod touchとwinマシンのFireFoxプラグインはEchofonだったのですがようやくこれでMacでも同じ環境でTweetできるようになりました。

Echofon for Macを使用していたので、Mac App Storeで一元管理できるのは嬉しくてインストールしました。 概ね満足ですが、ツイート方法がCommand+enterだったのがenterだけに変更されてますね。 （Command+enterだとツイートできず、少々違和感が残ってます） まぁ慣れの問題なのですが。

iPhoneとiPadからもTwitterをチェックしているので、Macも含めて未読Tweetの同期が取れるEchofonを愛用しています。UIのデザインも機能も、先進的というわけではなく、シンプルで分かりやすいので普通に使えてます。公式Twitterアプリが肌に合わなかった方はこちらを試してみる価値ありだと思います。

Very useful and I like the minimal design of it. Better than the original one by twitter. But when I search for words, the same tweet by the same person show a lot.

I want to hide cover photo from profile. Its disturbing for reading TL.

Is it me, or is there no retweet feature? Maybe I just dont know what Im doing, but I went to the help section and it just gave me an error noise and wouldnt tell me how to retweet. I will try and figure it out. If theres no retweeting Im deleting.

Ive tried every Twitter for Mac app that exists and this one is still my favorite. Its intuitive, easy to use, and has a clean design. Having the ability to choose font size is one of the most important features for me, and amazingly, this is one of maybe 2 apps that has this feature. There are always some minor bugs that usually get fixed pretty fast. Theres one annoying bug that seems itll never get fixed--when you click the star to favorite a tweet, it never registers and doesnt turn yellow until you click it a second time.

simple and effiecent.. can tweet current itunes song, use emoji, just like the itouch/iphone app

- When you search your twitter stream, I want to be able to load more results i.e. search further back in time.

Looking for a Twitter client for my Macbook Pro that would allow longer tweets. Lite version seemed awkward in the UI and wouldnt allow it. Free version with ads is (of course) annoying, but I didnt buy the paid version...

Great app! Really love it, except the most annoying this is that it does not auto complete @ - and because of that Im going to have to switch. I hate having to look up people every time I want to tweet them, though I have been using this for a long time!
